Limited Edition 1959 Sports Watch Recreation. The first Seiko sport watch — elegant, yet rugged and superbly functional — the Laurel Alpinist is recreated this distinctive Limited Edition. Available in a limited edition of 1,959 to commemorate the year of its introduction, with each screwdown caseback engraved to show the watch's position in the controlled-production run, this extraordinary watch celebrates the beginnings of Seiko's rise to the forefront of high-intensity timekeeping. Designed for the dedicated adventurer, it features such signature notes as the rich brown leather two-layer bund strap with zig-zag stitching and slanted loop, designed to protect the wrist from moisture, and a clean black dial with oversized mountain shaped markers at the 12-, 6- and 9-o'clock positions to ensure superior legibility. Updates include a date window and LumiBrite hands and markers, as well as a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The thinner 26-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours, and can be wound manually or automatically. In stainless steel with super-hard coating, this exceptional watch comes packaged in a special presentation box. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant. Numbered 686/1959.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Laura from and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service I received. I was looking to purchase an antique diamond pendant and Laura provided me with the most personalized care I've experienced when shopping virtually for jewelry. She was always available to answer my questions, and her empathy and willingness to help were beyond exceptional.
